Art Classes
This page shows a range of paintings following nearly 20 years. My paintings from the 1990s are mainly still-lifes, since I had a baby and no time to paint during the day. Later work uses my home town of Deal as inspiration.
Boat mural Nov09 001 (600 x 450)
gas tower painting (600 x 411)
High Street by Harold (600 x 450)
paintings Oct09 009 (600 x 486)
paintings June09 003 (600 x 490)
Rooftop painting 1 (600 x 394)
In the early 2000s I became quite preoccupied with the rooftops of Deal and worked on a project inviting people to suggest their "view of Deal".
Since 2009 I have been painting on boarded up properties, trying to rescue the visual appearance of my Town in the face of recession.
I run my own teaching organisation called Artlark, run the Burning Bush Gallery in Deal with my husband, and paint portraits in oils and on-the-spot portraits of children.
