All murals are by Penny Bearman and have been completed during 2009 or 2010 as part of the "Spirit of Deal " project. This aimed to combat the worst visual effects of the recession on Deal, with many shops being boarded up.
I worked with an initial layer of garden fleece to simulate the appearance of canvas.
